You know exactly what I’m talking about. You face this every time you go shopping, look in a mirror, or get ready to go out. You look at yourself and think yuck! Do I really look like this? I wish I was smaller or taller or skinner or whatever. You find a flaw and stress over it. You get about five inches from the mirror and examine every aspect of your face. Am I right? I struggle with the exact same thing. I struggle with it when I walk through the hall way and get pushed around because I’m so small. I struggle with it when I look in the mirror and see how I don’t have clear skin. I struggle with it, and I’m sure you do too. But the thing is God didn’t make a mistake when he made you and me. The Bible says that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. We’re made valid by our worth in Christ not by how we look. Those of you who have grown up in church and have heard this before are probably numb to this message. You’ve heard it before and in the back of your mind your thinking “Um I’m pretty sure God may have made a mistake when he made me”. The thing is guys; God’s perfect. He doesn’t make mistakes and he didn’t make one when he made you. So quit being hard on yourself! You are beautiful!
